The brand new Benelli BKX 125 S | Freedom awaits
Versatile, aggressive, unique: the BKX 125 S does not go unnoticed. It is the road version of the BKX family, available on the market from early 2026, and is the Benelli proposal dedicated to all-round fun on tarmac. A multi-purpose bike, with a strong personality and designed to tackle the city routine as well as twisty roads. With its great manoeuvrability, the BKX 125 S stands out thanks to its ease and quickness in changing direction.
The design of the BKX 125 S was created at the Centro Stile Benelli in Pesaro and it is characterised by a profile with sleek lines, a tapered and sloping tail and an aggressive nose with forward leaning lines. The high-profile exhaust and tank sides, ergonomically ideal to accommodate the rider's legs, contribute onto defining a road presence reminiscent of sporty naked bikes and road-going supermotards.
The character of the BKX 125 S is also defined by its chassis, built around a new steel trellis frame; as for the suspension setup, the BKX 125 S features a rear monoshock adjustable in preload and rebound, connected to the swingarm via a linkage system, while at the front a 41 mm fork is fully adjustable in preload, compression and rebound. This is a premium feature in a very accessible segment, allowing young riders and beginners to experiment with chassis adjustments and find the setup that best suits their riding style. The 17” aluminium alloy wheels are fitted with road tyres, 100/80 at the front and 130/70 at the rear.
The beating heart of the BKX 125 S is a 125cc Euro 5+ single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine (bore x stroke: 54 x 54.5 mm), whose power output complies with A1 licence regulations: 15 hp (11 kW) at 9,500 rpm and 12.1 Nm (1.2 kgm) of torque at 7,000 rpm. A responsive yet efficient engine, capable of delivering excellent performance while keeping fuel consumption low, ensuring a range of around 500 km thanks to its 12-litre fuel tank.
The braking system features a 280 mm front disc with a four-piston radial caliper, while the rear brake is equipped with a 240 mm disc and a single-piston floating caliper.
The BKX 125 S comes with a seat height of 820 mm, making it accessible even to female riders, a wheelbase of 1,390 mm that ensures agility and easy handling, and a curb weight of just 142 kg. Completing the equipment package of the BKX 125 S is a simple yet clearly visible LCD instrument panel, easily readable in all riding conditions. All lighting components, including the distinctive front “blades” and the rear indicators with integrated stop and position lights, are full LED. A convenient USB socket is also available for charging a smartphone or other electronic devices.
The BKX 125 S will be available at all Benelli UK dealerships starting from early 2026, offered in three exclusive colour options: pastel grey/carbon black, gres white/avio blue, pure white/oxide green.
